Contents of this module:
The training covers various essential aspects of an Education and Examination Regulations (OER). In the first part, the foundation is laid, discussing the structure of participation and relevant regulations. This includes topics such as the Model-OER and fundamental choices in drafting an OER.
Next, a deeper dive is taken into the consent and advisory rights of various bodies regarding specific parts of the OER. The interpretation of these rights and their scope are thoroughly discussed, providing participants with a clear understanding of their role within the OER process.
Following this, the focus shifts to the participants' own OERs. Here, the acquired knowledge is applied, discussing uncertainties and considering potential improvements. Additionally, procedural aspects are addressed, such as the involvement of the council and tactics of administrators.
Finally, joint priorities are established for the participants' own OER process, providing them with concrete ideas to successfully initiate their own OER process.
Tip: This training can be conducted jointly with all bodies involved in an OER, such as a joint training between the Faculty Council and the Program Committee.
