Enrich your toolkit with a training!
At Klasen Training and Advice, we offer various modules, and a training typically consists of multiple modules. You have the flexibility to choose the modules that best suit your needs, although we're happy to offer advice if needed. Each module is tailored to your council's knowledge and experience based on your preferences and background. All our training sessions can be conducted in either Dutch or English. While our standard practice is to conduct training sessions in person at your location, we can also offer them online if preferred.
Our modules

Participation (basic introduction)
This basic training serves as the foundation for every council. It covers all essential knowledge needed.
Teaching and Exam Regulations (TER/OER)
This module covers everything about the OER, from legal foundations and consent rights to the processes.
Reaching the constituency
This module is all about using different methods of reaching your constituents.
Participation (advanced level)
This is the follow-up module to the 'Participation (basic)' module and serves the more experienced councils.
Teamwork
Teams learn to collaborate more effectively, and each member learns how they function within a team.
Effective meeting
Effective meeting management is challenging for many councils. This module will train you.
Council skills
In this module, you'll learn how to write advices, negotiate, critically read, and ask questions effectively.
'How do I survive the executive board'
Each administrator has tactics to manipulate the council. You will learn how to deal with these tactics.
Working arrangements
It's important for a team to establish good working agreements. This module will assist you in just that.
Creating an annual plan
Every good council has an annual plan, but how do you create one? We will guide you through the process.
Internal evaluations
After some time, it's beneficial to evaluate how things are going. This module facilitates that process.
Customized training
A customized training is a training that is fully tailor-made to your wishes and the topics you want.
