This training offers a structured approach for councils to periodically review their performance and strive for continuous improvement. Through various retrospective formats (a method from the "Scrum" world), important aspects of team functioning are highlighted, including mission and vision, goals and results, task allocation, work agreements and decision-making, interpersonal relationships and team culture, individual motivation, and external circumstances and resources.

The training recommends scheduling evaluations at least three times a year, focusing on different milestones in the council year. Methods such as the "iceberg model" by McClelland, the "starfish model" for work agreements, and interactive exercises such as placing boats on a sea to visualize motivation are used to facilitate in-depth discussions and insights. The goal of the training is for you to experience firsthand what works for your council through the wide variety of formats, so that you can later apply this in your own evaluations.

By creating a safe and open environment, participants are encouraged to reflect honestly and provide constructive feedback. With this approach, councils can collaborate effectively, improve their performance, and achieve their goals.
